The scandal that has rocked the U.S. health care industry over the past few months has involved thousands of people, including hundreds of celebrities.
The problem is the practice is illegal in many states, and many doctors who have been caught selling body parts have been fired.
As a result, thousands of bodies have been found in unlicensed car bodies parts shops.
But now, a lawsuit is trying to change that, and it’s the latest in a long line of efforts to crack down on the practice.
“We are all in this together,” says the lawyer representing the victims, Lisa Lohr of the National Association of Car Body Parts Organizers.
Lohr says the group has filed suit in California and Florida on behalf of the women who are seeking compensation.
Lohrs lawyers allege that car body parts sellers and dealers have been selling the parts without the consent of the people who own and operate the shops.
That means it’s not uncommon for car body shop owners to use body parts stolen from other people’s cars to build their own vehicles.
Luhr says that’s a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
They are also suing to get compensation for the women’s emotional distress and to help them get jobs in the health care field.
It’s a fight that’s been underway for a long time, but now it’s a huge challenge.
The women suing have suffered significant financial losses and are working to keep their medical records private, and they’re hoping to eventually win their lawsuit.
